this is the one time i agree with rob stone about the teammate thing.

Thank you. Thank you very much. This past Friday, I was 3 for 3 on the 10 pin. I stood with my right foot on the 35th board and threw the ball straight over the middle arrow. It seems there are different angles that the 10 pin. Sometimes I would experiment by standing on the 2nd dot from the left and throw the ball over the 3rd arrow, I think. Thanks for the info.

    From my own experience…
    Right handed release…

For the 7 pin, use the 3-6-9 method. This means that you move 3 boards right from your normal pocket ball for the 2 pin, 6 boards right for the 4 pin and 9 boards right for the 7 pin.

You have to practice the 10 pin until you are throwing perfectly into the corner across the lane. Practice by starting at the far left dot on the approach and aiming over the third arrow from the right, making sure to keep your wrist steady.

Joe just couldn’t handle the pressure. But, at the same time, his teammate should have been telling him how routine the shot was instead of how much was riding on it. U have to try to relax your teammates in pressure situations.

  10. ziggitydog Says:

I can’t bowl with a tight thumb because my thumb sticks when I release the ball especially in the summer. I like my thumb to feel just a little loose.

Speaking of the 7 pin and 10 pin could you tell me how to make the 7 pin spare and the 10 pin spare throwing the ball straight. What board do you stand on and what board do you throw the ball over for each 7 pin and 10 pin. Thank you

  15. tritnheat1 Says:

Geez Fagan why did you change balls? That Bite is such a piece of crap ball!

  16. keoni96 Says:

ouch that hurts ! he should of just been relaxed. He was over thinking and pulled the ball away from his target.

  17. ripponv2 Says:

having a tight thumb helps relax ur thumb so u can put more finger in the ball

  18. kid1424654844 Says:

YES, if u go to ur local pro shop u can have them drill a bowling ball of ur choice to fit ur fingers EXACTLY…. IT ALSO DEPENDS ON IF U FINGERTIP THE BALL….that might be the pooping sound but from my experience ( i have been bowling for 7 years) either the sound cominf from the fingertips or thumb but in my opinion it probably is the thumb

  20. rdaws73 Says:

Not really. Its just how they’re releasing the ball.

  21. MikeLeskoBowler Says:

haha joe ciccone.. never really lines up, thought it was garunteed… tugged the hell out of it hahah

  22. Nikon05 Says:

im new to bowling, but im just curious are you supposed to use a bowl thats nice and tight around your thumb because it sound slike on each of their shots u hear that popping sound which i usually get if the ball is a tight fit. is it better or something?
