Funny, I’m an American, I dont know what the words they sing mean, but I love it anyway, and Nusrat is my favorite singer of all, and Qawwali is a perfect style for his voice; he unites me with the holy spirit. I have no traditions or religions or nationality to hinder my appreciation for this music or any other. Do you suppose that I appreciate it more than those whos eyes are blined by the institutions they devote themselves?

i dunno abt others but m sikh too and nusrat fateh ali khan is my best singer and his songs act as stress relieve pills.he is the best dude

funny how there is so much sikh hating in the comments with nusrat sahib use to commonly sing bani out of guru granth sahib ji and not just shiek fareed ji or bhagat kabeer jis bani but as well as guru nanak dev ji’s and guru gobind singh ji’s.
